of global warming by promoting energy conservation, energy efficiency
and renewable energy in our personal lives and those of our congregations.

& Light
$10 admission, featuring music of the Celtic lands: Ireland, Scotland,
Brittany, Wales, Isle of Man, as well as a performance of Irish step-dancing.

a $5000 challenge grant for 2008
in recognition of NMIPL's outstanding work in 2007 and in support
of the organization's goals for the coming year. Matching the challenge
grant in full will result in a total of $10,000, which will enable
us to provide expanded assistance to our member faith communities.

Grant Funds Awarded:
In
fall 2007, through grants from PNM and the Tides Foundation, NMIPL
was able to award small grants to seven NMIPL member faith communities
to complete energy saving renovations in their buildings or activities
in their communities which addressed the issues of energy conservation
and climate change.

for energy-efficient compact fluorescent lightbulbs (cfl's).

(Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life) makes
the connection between Judaism and the environment, deepens the
community's committment to the stewardship of creation, and mobilizes
