What We Do

Answering the call of faith to care for Creation
We care for Creation and Creation cares for us. This sacred relationship calls on us to deepen in reflection and action for climate justice.

Our work focuses on four interconnected areas: helping faith communities transition to renewable energy, honoring sacred land & water, advocating for climate justice, and standing with communities in the Permian Basin.

Transitioning to Renewable Energy with Project HOW

We are helping faith communities across New Mexico reduce their emissions and transition to renewable energy. Through energy audits, efficiency upgrades, and solar projects, these communities are leading by example in caring for creation.

Honoring Sacred Land & Water

We are uniting people of faith and spirit to safeguard New Mexico's rivers, mountains, and desert as sacred gifts. Through partnerships, education, and stewardship, we honor the land and water that sustain life.

Advocating for Climate Justice

We are mobilizing people of faith and conscience to speak out for just policies on land, water, and climate. By engaging lawmakers, supporting faith leaders, and organizing grassroots voices, we bring moral leadership to the public square.

Standing with Communities in the Permian Basin

We are working to reduce the harms of extractive industries in one of the most heavily drilled oil and gas regions in the world. By standing with frontline communities, raising awareness, and pressing for a just transition, we defend people and creation from the impacts of extraction.
