The Laudato Si! committee will promote care for the earth at St. Albert the Great Newman Parish, 2615 S. Solano Dr

The event is held in conjunction with the Campus Ministry team at New Mexico State University.

Father Tom Smith,  OFM Conv, director of the Holy Cross Retreat Center in Mesilla Park, NM, will celebrate Eucharist and preach about some aspect of Care for the Earth   Then about 50-60 students gather for a meal and talking. One of the members of the Laudato Si! committee in Las Cruces/Mesilla Park  will give a 10 minute presentation on Laudato Si! and then members of the committee will sit at different tables to engage the students in conversation.
